The Saginaw County Young Professionals Network is proud to be part of the 2024 Memorial Cup volunteer efforts. As a group we will be assisting with the arrival of the cup on Thursday, May 23, 2024. We are scheduled to volunteer from 2 - 6 p.m.

Please carefully follow the directions below in order to sign up for our specific time slot. There is a code to use in order to be included in our group.

1. Register at this link: chl.ca/volunteers
Click "New Volunteer". (If you are already registered- Click "Returning Volunteer", then go to Step 3):
2. If new to the site, create your volunteer profile.
3. Once Profile is created, on your Volunteer Portal Home Screen, click on "Sign Up for an Upcoming Event".
4. Select Your name, if not already in the Volunteer Name Box.
5. Click "Use Reservation Code".
6. Enter Code YPNcup - click "Apply Reservation Code".
7. The Arrival of the Cup event should now be listed, click the button to select that Event - Then click Signup.
8. Return to Portal Home.

Instructions for Uploading a Photo (Everyone must have a photo uploaded - Headshot with clear/uncluttered background. Your Photo will be used on your credentials needed to enter the Memorial Cup Event. Note, your credentials do not gain you access to the Memorial Cup games, you will need to purchase tickets for those games.)

1. Log into your Volunteer Portal. You can use the same link as above and click on "Returning Volunteer".
2. On your Volunteer Portal Home Screen, scroll down to "View/Update Volunteer Profile Information".
3. In the Blue Circle where your photo will go, click on "Change" (upper right-hand corner).
4. Click on "Take Photo" (This will allow you to either take a photo or search for one on your phone/computer.)
5. Once the link for the photo appears in the window above that, click on "Upload Photo".
Your photo should now appear in the photo area on your profile screen. If at some point you want to change your photo, you must first "Remove" your previous photo before uploading another.

After you register, if you find at a later date you are unable to participate, please return to your Volunteer Portal and "Cancel Your Registration for an Upcoming Event".
