Child Abuse Prevention Month Events:
April 5th at 9 am Child Abuse Prevention Month Pinwheel Planting Ceremony
Join us Friday, April 5th at 9 am at Saginaw County DHHS (E Genesee Ave, Saginaw, MI 48607) as we honor those who, in partnership with our CAN Council, protect our children and strengthen families. After a brief program, guests will enjoy light refreshments and plant pinwheels to represent the healthy and safe childhoods we work to provide all children. No pre-registration required.
April 27th, 1 pm – 4 pm Art Encounter at the Saginaw Art Museum
Strengthening family bonds through art! Families will learn fun ways of communication using art. Through creative partner art exercises, children and adults can learn to become more attuned to the space around themselves and others! Don't forget to stop by the CAN table for more art fun bringing awareness to Child Abuse Prevention Month!
