Hospital Hospitality House of Saginaw celebrates 40 years

Hospital Hospitality House of Saginaw, Inc (HHH) is excited to celebrate 40 years of providing patients and their families a comfortable place to stay while away from home for various medical reasons. Five local women were influential in establishing the original hospitality house and four of them are helping plan a celebratory event.

On Thursday, April 11, HHH will be hosting open houses at both of their Saginaw locations to showcase the facilities, services offered, and spread awareness about the organization’s mission. The Saginaw community is cordially invited to attend the open houses, in addition to the staff from Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital, Covenant HealthCare, Select Specialty Hospital, and Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.

The program will feature remarks from Jamie King, Executive Director and two of the founding women will share some of the history behind getting HHH started.

“We are thankful for the Junior League, and especially the five founding women who poured their lives into bringing this vision to reality. It’s been great to learn about everything it took for them to get HHH open and all the hurdles they overcame,” said Jamie King, Executive Director of HHH. "This year marks a huge milestone for us. We celebrate our donors, past guests, and all of the staff, volunteers, and board members that helped the organization grow over the past 40 years.”

Along with celebrating 40 years, HHH is excited to announce a rebranding initiative which includes a new logo, website (www.hhhofsaginaw.org), and brand standards to use across all marketing channels. The original logo was created by John Lee back in 1983 and had been used until now.

The new website features many updates, including information on the staff and Board of Directors, ways to get involved, and, most importantly, a Room Request Form so guests can submit information before they arrive at HHH, expediting their check-in process.

Individuals can stay up-to-date on happenings at HHH through their website and social media channels:
