Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra announces Star Trek (2009): The Future Begins LIVE

Boldly going where no symphony has gone before, the Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra proudly announces its next spectacular concert event: "Star Trek (2009): The Future Begins LIVE." Trekkies and music aficionados alike are invited to mark their calendars for this one-night-only event, which will take place on April 27, 2024, at the historic Temple Theatre in Saginaw, MI.

Directed by J.J. Abrams and featuring a sensational musical composition by Academy Award-winning composer Michael Giacchino, "Star Trek (2009)" captured the imagination of audiences worldwide with its exhilarating action, heartfelt drama, and bold vision of the future. Now, fans can immerse themselves in the epic adventure of the U.S.S. Enterprise as the Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra brings Giacchino's dynamic score to life, under the baton of the esteemed Maestro Fouad Fakhouri.

Maestro Fakhouri, renowned for his passionate interpretation and masterful command of the orchestra, expressed his excitement for the upcoming performance: "I am thrilled to be presenting Michael Giacchino’s electrifying score to the acclaimed 2009 Star Trek movie. It has been a long term goal of mine, to present our SBSO audiences with a movie accompanied by a live orchestra. Giacchino is currently one of the most talented movie composers working in Hollywood and this performance promises to be an unforgettable experience for both Trekkies and all music lovers alike”.

The doors to the concert will open at 7:00 PM, with the performance starting promptly at 8:00 PM.
