Braun Kendrick Appoints Johnson New Business Department Chairperson |

Clayton J. Johnson has been selected as the Business Department Chair at Braun Kendrick, the region’s largest law firm. Johnson’s practice is focused in the area of business and corporate law as well as estate planning. Clay represents closely held businesses with regard to issues such as entity formation, tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. He also advises families and business owners regarding real estate, business succession, and estate planning matters. Clay, a Clare native, received his Juris Doctorate, from the University of Connecticut School of Law after obtaining a Bachelor of Science from Saginaw Valley State University, cum laude. Clay is president of the Board of Directors for the Northeastern Michigan Estate Planning Council, and also serves a member of the boards of directors of the Saginaw Valley State University Alumni Association and the Clare County Fair. In the past he has served on the board of directors of the Saginaw Zoo and also as a fund allocation advisor for the United Way of Clare County.
