Government Relations

The Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce is commited to provide Chamber members with current information on legislative issues, policies and regulatory efforts that affect Saginaw County and the Great Lakes Bay region. Members are welcome to participate in Chamber ad hoc committees on an issue by issue basis and are regularly kept informed of breaking issues through legislative email updates, and Business Advocate Magazines, monthly Percolator Breakfast meetings, and special informative events.

Sales Tax Alert

In January 2015, the Michigan Department of Treasury will begin to process current-year Sales, Use, and
Withholding (SUW) tax returns with a new online system. As a result of this new processing system, there will
be changes to the SUW forms and to the way taxpayers can file and make payments for tax year 2015 returns. Click here for details.


Endorsed Candidates
